A New Cottage Garden

My new book about my own garden, written and photographed by me, has been published by Pimpernel Press. It’s taken two years to do, and I am so happy with the way the book looks and much gratitude goes to Jo, Gail and Sarah and all the fabulous people at Pimpernel for that. This is a special offer, and the book is, of course, available at all good bookshops and the usual internet retailers.

Here is some blurb from the back of the book;

“After many years of photographing gardens Mark Bolton decided he wanted to make a garden of his own, from scratch. And what kind of garden? Well, of course, a cottage garden, everybody's favourite. This is a personal account of how an amateur enthusiast, who has never made a garden before – but who, as a garden photographer, is very conscious of what a good garden should look like – sets out to make a lovely garden of his own. As an inexperienced gardener himself, he always bears in mind the complete gardening novice and includes useful practical information. “
